Stet, an IRI subsidiary, purchases the entire stock of Siemens SpA from the receivership. Shortly before this event, the subsidiary company had been suspended by decree from the Treasury.
Stet splits holding of the company by the transfer of shares, conferring 49% to Società Idroelettrica Piemontese (SIP), 2% to IRI and withholding 49%. The main company clients become the new shareholders.
Gorla - Siama is resold to private buyers and is repurchased in 1962.
The transfer of the Olap production site to San Siro - Piazzale Zavattari is started. The mother company (S & H e SSW) transfers general dealership of its products (meters, installation materials, household appliances) over different periods to Siemens SpA.
A "name agreement" is reached between S&H, SSW and Siemens SpA.
Stet decides to concentrate its activities in the field of telecommunications and separates its capital to form Siemens Elettra SpA, with the registered office in via Fabio Filzi 29.
In 1960, S&H and SSW purchase the shares of Siemens Elettra SpA, while Siemens SpA becomes the Italian company, Telecomunicazioni Siemens SpA (SIT Siemens).
