The purchase of Isaria Zählerwerke AG in Germany is also flanked by the acquisition of the Milanese factory of SA Officine Isaria Contatori Elettrici (electricity meter production).
Property of over 4000 m2 is purchased in Viale Lombardia 108, Milan, and construction of Siemens factories is started for the manufacture of desktop and wall-mounted telephones.
Following setup in Germany, also the Italian company, Apparecchi Medicali ed Affini (SIAMA - medical equipment and similar) in Rome, is set up in Italy, to subsequently be merged with the company, Luigi Gorla & C, under the name of Gorla - Siama with a production unit at San Siro, later moved to Via Amedeo 38.
The company, SA Officine Lombarde Apparecchi di Precisione (OLAP - precision equipment), is set up for the production of telephones, switchboards, equipment, pneumatic despatch systems, radio equipment and music reproduction devices.
Snia Viscosa supplies orders for transformers, dynamos, motors, systems and cables for a total sum of 5,600,000 Italian Lire.
